MaptoCraft: Turn Real Places Into Minecraft Worlds

MaptoCraft is a browser-based Minecraft world generator that converts real places into downloadable Minecraft Java Edition saves. Choose a city, neighborhood, landmark, or custom map area, then generate a world based on OpenStreetMap data with configurable terrain, scale, smoothing, and spawn settings.

How MaptoCraft Works

Search for a location, draw a rectangle or polygon on the map, and pick a spawn point inside your selected area. MaptoCraft fetches geographic data, runs the Arnis-powered world conversion in the browser, and prepares a downloadable ZIP file containing the Minecraft world data, metadata, and level files needed for Minecraft Java Edition.

Use The Download In Minecraft Java Edition

After generation finishes, download the ZIP, extract the world folder, and move it into your Minecraft Java Edition saves directory. Start Minecraft, open Singleplayer, and the imported world should be available to play.
