Minecraft Map & World Generator From Real Maps
MaptoCraft is a browser-based Minecraft world generator that converts real maps into downloadable Minecraft Java Edition worlds or Experimental Bedrock Edition worlds. Choose a city, neighborhood, landmark, or custom map area, then generate a world based on OpenStreetMap data with configurable terrain, scale, smoothing, and spawn settings.
How MaptoCraft Works
Search for a location, draw a rectangle or polygon on the map, and pick a spawn point inside your selected
area. MaptoCraft fetches geographic data, runs the Arnis-powered world conversion in the browser, and
prepares a Java Edition world ZIP or an Experimental Bedrock .mcworld import archive.
Key Features
- Generate Minecraft worlds from real-world streets, buildings, and map features.
- Choose flat or terrain-enabled generation depending on the area and performance needs.
- Adjust scale, ground level, terrain height, smoothing, roof handling, and fill settings.
- Set a custom spawn point; Java also supports custom spawn height and facing.
- Download a Java Edition ZIP or an Experimental Bedrock Edition
.mcworld.
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, and the browser generation pipeline is built on Arnis.

Use The Download In Minecraft
After generation finishes, download the ZIP, extract the world folder, and move it into your Minecraft Java
Edition saves directory. Start Minecraft, open Singleplayer, and the imported world should be
available to play. For Experimental Bedrock, keep the .mcworld intact. Windows, Android, and
iPhone/iPad use direct import; consoles use a separate Realm transfer. Import compatibility can vary by
Minecraft version and device.
